Diversidad de nematodos del suelo en una selva tropical mexicana
Main Article Content
Abstract
Despite importance of soil nematodes in ecosystemic process such as organic matter decomposition and plant-parasitic interactions, the knowledge of their biodiversity in rainforest is lack. It was explored the community assemblage at genera level of soil nematodes of subhumid tropical forest in two different successional age forests: > 50 and < 15 years old. Plant density (³ 1 height), Shannon-Wiener diversity (H’), Simpson dominance (D) and genera community richness (Bootstrap) were determined in each site. The most abundant genera in > 50 years old successional age forest were Helicotylenchus and Mononchus; while Aphelenchus and Rhabditis were in < 15 years old. Plant density was higher in > 50 than < 15 years old. Genera community richness was estimated in 85 %, explained mainly by the nematodes genera found in oldest forest. Major functional groups were c-p2 and c-p3 varying by forest age. This is a primary study about soil nematodes diversity in a Mexican tropical forest.
