Evaluación de fungicidas y momentos de aplicación para el control de sarna en mandarinos Clemenules y Okitsu
Main Article Content
Abstract
To evaluate pyraclostrobin effectiveness, compared with other fungicides, for the control of citrus scab in commercial orchards of ‘Clemenules’ and ‘Okitsu’ mandarin, at two locations in Corrientes, Argentina, different frequencies and application moments combinations of carbendazin 50%, dithianon 70%, mancozeb 80%, pyraclostrobin 25% and copper oxychloride 50% were tested during two seasons. Trials were conducted in randomized complete block design with four replications. No symptoms fruits percentage (grade 0), fruits with less than 20% symptoms (grade 1) and symptoms over than 20% (grade 2) were evaluated at harvest. To evaluate the treatments behavior, analysis of variance, Duncan test and principal component analysis were applied. In order to achieve a satisfactory scab control, for the region and conditions studied, a single application of pyraclostrobin per season is not enough. With two applications of pyraclostrobin, in full and post bloom, one application of pyraclostrobin in pre bloom and dithianon in post bloom, or three applications of mancozeb in pre, full and post bloom, high control of citrus scab (90% of fruits without scab symptoms) was achieve for the varieties under study.
