Detección y evaluación de b-exotoxina en cepas nativas de bacillus thuringiensis
Main Article Content
Abstract
An organic solvent precipitation was used for heat stable exotoxin detection in subspecies of Bacillus thuringiensis. Nine native strains from Plant Health Research Institute collection were tested. Tripticase soy broth and Conner and Hansen media cultures were used for microorganism reproduction. High values of optical absortion at 260 nm were obtain with tripticase soy broth media which suggest the higher production of the exotoxin. The supernatant fluids of these strains produce high mortality levels against adult female of Tetranychus tumidus since 24 hours. Nevertheless it was observed low mortality levels and any laid eggs with the exotoxin purified.
