Epidemiología del mildiú de las cucurbitáceas (Pseudoperonospora cubensis berk & curt) en materiales de melón (Cucumis melo l.)

Abstract
A seven classes (0-6) logarithmical diagram scale was done in order to estimate disease strength of pathosystem Pesudoperonospora cubensis-Cucumis melo in melon materials Archer, Top Marker, Camino, Hy Mark, 0585, Calmark and Ovation; its validation with ten tester produce precision values (r2) of 0.78-0.92 rank and exactitude (b1) of 0.84-1.07, which indicate a reproducible scale. Progress and disease strength curves fitted to Weibull model description through his inverse parameter of b-1, it was determined that Archer, Top Marker and Hy Mark materials showed the lowest infection rates with 0.01230, 0.01295 and 0.01225 unit/day respectively, and the lowest area under the progress curve of disease with 251.9, 162.37 and 234.19%/day, respectively. These materials obtained the highest amount of fruit per plant and the highest weight per fruit.
