Influencia de la temperatura media, humedad relativa y precipitaciones en el comportamiento de tres especies de insectos plagas asociados al cultivo del tabaco al sol en el municipio de Puerto Padre

Abstract
The behaviuor of Epitrix hirtipennis (Melsh.), Heliothis virescens (Fab.) and Phlegethontius sexta jamaicensis (Butler) was studied during campaign 2003-2004 in three zones of Puerto Padre municipality, where the production of tobacco was concentrated. For the relationships of dependence between climatic variables considered and the population levels of the plagues was used analysis of correlation regression, and it was found that temperatures, as well as low or moderate relative humidity, influenced direct and significantly plagues development. On the other hand, E. hirtipennis was the first species that appeared in the experimental parcels of the three zone considered, and Siguaraya zone offered better conditions for the development of the three species studied followed by the zone of Veguita.
